Today we announce the temporary closure of Marquis Surrey with immediate effect. Facilities at the current premises in London Road, Bagshot are no longer adequate to support the Marquis Group’s growing success in the motorhome marketplace. Marquis are actively looking for larger, more suitable premises for their Surrey branch and hope to make further announcements in the New Year.
Alan Buckwell, Sales and Marketing Director advised “The move to close the branch ahead of securing an alternate location for Marquis Surrey was a difficult decision but one that will ultimately prove to be a positive and decisive move. I am delighted to confirm that all staff at Marquis Surrey have been offered alternative positions within the group and customers advised by letter of the situation. For the interim period, all outstanding customer sales deliveries, aftercare and service requirements will be handled by Marquis Berkshire, Oxford Road, Chieveley, Nr Newbury RG20 8RU which in the short-term will be renamed Marquis Berkshire and Surrey.”
