Motorhome no.5 from Marquis
Mick Thorpe, from Staines in Middlesex, collected the keys to his latest motorhome from Marquis Surrey this week. Mick, who has worked for Marquis for over 11 years, is a keen motorcaravanner himself and has notched up 5 new motorhomes over the years.
His first adventure began in a Mirage 5000 model, he subsequently bought two Bessacarr E765's, an Autocruise Tempo and he has lately had an Autocruise Pulse model specially adapted to carry his wife Shirley, who sadly is now in a wheelchair.
Mick and Shirley have loved using their motorhomes over the years and were avid ralliers up until Shirley became ill a few years ago. Mick keeps himself busy these days with caring for his wife and still works as a driver for Marquis Surrey when he can.
